SKILLS CENTRE

Hi. I'm Daniel, Director and Head Trainer here at the Skills Centre.

Skills Centre came about after I left the Military in 2014 after serving 14 years in the Corps of Royal Engineers.

My last few years in the Engineers I was teaching "Working in Confined Spaces " and, as part of that course, learners needed to have a civilian first aid qualification. The Military selected a few soldiers they thought had the right credentials to become First Aid trainers. I was one of those lucky enough to be selected. After leaving the military in 2014 I began working across the world teaching security skills and basic First Aid to different military companies, mostly in West Africa.
Eventually I decided to hang up my backpack once and for all, and return to the lovely Southwest to settle down for good where I set up the Skills Centre.
I still teach First aid regularly to the Royal Navy but I also now run my very popular First Aid and Emergency First at Work courses as well as health and safety fire safety, food safety, COSHH and mental health first aid to the general public and local businesses.

If you would like to know more or would like to join a course then please give me a message and i'd be happy to help.
Daniel
Daniel Buckley.
